Jihoon Choi, M.D.
Orthopedic Spine Surgeon
Dr. Jihoon (Tony) Choi is a fellowship trained orthopedic spine surgeon with special interests in minimally invasive techniques. His comprehensive approach to spine care and his philosophy is to always exhaust conservative measures prior to surgery to tailor unique treatment plans to patients' individual goals. This made him a perfect fit to join the SpineTech medical group two years ago. Whenever possible, he applies muscle sparing techniques such as disc replacement surgery. He has completed advanced fellowship training in complex orthopedic spine surgery at The University of California under direction of renowned surgeons Dr. Steven Garfin, R. Todd Allen, and Vinko Zlomislic. Prior to fellowship, he completed an orthopedic surgical residency at The University of Southern California/ Los Angeles County and Children's Hospital of Los Angeles.
