Surgical/Procedure Guidelines
Vision Park Surgery Center will contact you with your arrival time and instructions the week of your procedure. Please leave a cell/home phone number so that you can be reached in a timely manner.
Pre-op Nurse will need a list of current medications along with dosage. Medical History will also be reviewed.
- You MUST have a Designated Driver 18 years or older to drive you home following the procedure.
- Weight Loss Medications must be stopped 7 days prior to your procedure.
- Verify with your Physician when to stop taking Blood Thinners and Aspirin.
- Diabetic Medications Trulicity, Bydureon, Byetta, Saxenda, Victoza, Adlyxin, and Semaglutide must be stopped at least 7 days prior to your procedure. If you have any questions, please contact your physician or call the surgery center.
- Nothing to eat or drink after midnight, (this includes gum, hard candy, lozenges or water/ice chips) on the day of procedure.
If you are scheduled for surgery with Dr. Lo, Dr. Khan, or Dr. Choi, please have the office (SpineTech ) give you orders for labs, EKG, Chest X Ray, etc.
